Synopsis Tatchi、 TouchThe Uesugi twins、 Tatsuya and Kazuya、 and their next-door neighbor Minami Asakura have been good friends since childhood. The elder Tatsuya gradually falls in love with Minami. Tatsuya、 Kazuya、 and Minami enter Meisei Academy and start their new lives as high school students.Joining the baseball club、 Kazuya becomes the new ace pitcher. However、 he passes away in a traffic accident before the final game of the regional tournament . Tatsuya then decides to take over his younger brother’s unfulfilled dream of taking Minami to the national tournament at Koshien. He joins the baseball club with strong recommendation from the team captain、 Takeshi Kuroki. Despite conflicting with other members right after entry、 Tatsuya gradually gains confidence from them and leads the team to win many games.In his second year at the Academy、 Tatsuya reconfirms that he holds the dream of taking Minami to Koshien through experiences in games with many strong teams. In the summer of his third year、 he faces the powerful Sumi Technical High School at the final qualifier and wins a ticket to Koshien. On the day of the opening ceremony of the national tournament、 Tatsuya says to Minami、 “I、 Tatsuya Uesugi、 love you、 Minami Asakura more than anyone else in the world.” Later、 Tatsuya wins a Koshien title together with his team members.Touch is an anime television series produced by Group TAC in 1985. Many other adaptions such as theatrical films and anime television specials were also produced. It is based on a baseball manga series by Mitsuru Adachi、 who is famous for his MIX and Cross Game. The original manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1981 to 1986.
