Her journey with these two rather strange characters is filled with trouble––confronting street-murderers, bandits, and other enemies, getting involved in various incidents, etc.––but they gradually get to know each other and deepen their relationship. Fuu finds clues as to the whereabouts of the sunflower-smelling samurai and pursues him together with the two swordsmen, meeting and parting with many people along the way. The sunflower-smelling samurai is Fuu’s father, Seizo Kasumi, and she is reunited with him after a long journey.Samurai Champloo is an original TV animation series directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, known for works such as Cowboy Bepop.
