Synopsis

Kamen Raida Kiba, Kamen Rider Kiva The Fangire tribe, a dark race of monsters whose power is absolute, lurk behind the scenes of society, plotting to dominate human beings. Meanwhile, Wataru Kurenai, a violin craftsman and timid young man born to a human father and a Fangire mother, spends his days going through trial and error to create a violin that surpasses the masterpiece Bloody Rose left behind by his father, Otoya Kurenai. Under such circumstances, the Fangire begin to attack people using Life Energy, the life energy of humans, as a source of sustenance. In order to confront this crisis, Wataru uses the power of Kivat-Bat the 3rd, a bat monster that belongs to the Kivat tribe, and transforms into Kamen Rider Kiva wearing the legendary Kiva armor. He fights alongside the Arms Monsters against the Fangire and the Checkmate Four, the four top members of the Fangire race, while struggling to come to grips with the conflict between humans and monsters. After many encounters with various people, Wataru becomes involved in the battle that took place 22 years ago between his father Otoya, who is related to his own origins, and the Fangire.This tokusatsu drama series was produced by Toei and broadcast from January 2008 to January 2009 on the TV Asahi network. This is the ninth film in the Heisei Kamen Rider series and was also produced to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the birth of Shotaro Ishinomori, the original creator of Kamen Rider. Koji Seto, known for his roles as Kazuma Sakuraba in Lupin’s Daughter and Hojo Tokifusa in the NHK historical drama The 13 Lords of the Shogun, played the lead role of Wataru Kurenai.
