They face off against the Black Cross Army as the Secret Squad Gorenger.This is the first tokusatsu superhero show in the Super Sentai series, based on the original story by Shotaro Ishinomori, produced by Toei, and broadcast from March 1975 to March 1977 on the TV Asahi network. Hiroshi Miyauchi, who played the role of Akira Shinmei in this series, had played the role of Kamen Rider V3 prior to starring in Gorenger.
