Synopsis

Denjin Zaborger Yutaka Daimon is a hot-blooded youth. Serving as a special agent of the Metropolitan Police Department, he has returned to Japan after training as a secret detective under Interpol.Then, his father, Dr. Isamu Daimon, is assassinated by Sigma, a criminal gang, over the special energy he invented. Yutaka learns of Isamu’s death and receives his will from a friend of his father. In his father’s facility constructed underground a church, he discovers Zaborger, a criminal investigation robot. As a child, Yutaka underwent surgery to implant an electrode circuit pacemaker charged with Daimonium, the special energy developed by his father, Dr. Daimon, thanks to which he survived. The pacemaker’s energy activates Zaborger.To find and exact revenge on Dr. Akunomiya, the cyborg villain who murdered his father, Yutaka, together with Zaborger, confronts Sigma and their many evil deeds.Denjin Zaborger is a tokusatsu TV series produced by P Productions, airing on the Fuji TV network from April 1974 to June 1975. It was created by Kazuo Koike, a famous manga creator and novelist known for works such as Lone Wolf and Cub.In October 2011, the TV series was rebooted as a film titled Denjin Zaborger.
