Kikokai Garian、 Panzer World GalientThe story is set on a planet called Arst、 the fifth planet of the Ilastant Solar System in the Crescent Galaxy、 one of the many galaxies in the huge universe. Volder、 a kingdom on Arst with a three thousand year history、 has a new male heir、 who is named Jordy. The kingdom is filled with joy、 but、 learning of the birth of Jordy、 Marder the Conqueror attacks the kingdom、 kills the king of Volder in battle、 and takes Queen Felia captive. Entrusted with the care of Jordy from Queen Felia、 the loyal vassal Azbeth escapes and raises the boy as his own grandson.Twelve years have passed since the tragic incident、 and Jordy and Azbeth are on a journey in search of the legendary iron giant Galient.Subsequently、 Jordy goes to the White Valley、 where those opposed to Marder have gathered、 and there meets Chururu、 the daughter of the leader of the region、 Dartas. Led by Chururu、 Jordy at last finds the iron giant Galient. He gets on Galient and defeats the invading Marder army.As the Iron Giant Warrior、 Jordy continues to fight against Hai Shartat、 Marder’s chief bodyguard、 engaging in many a fierce battle. The final battle takes place on Marder’s planet、 Lamplate. Although losing Azbeth、 a father-like figure to Jordy、 in the deadly fight、 Jordy prevails、 destroys the planet Lamplate、 and restores peace to the universe.Jordy just manages to escape from the planet Lamplate before its destruction. Vowing never to let such a tragedy occur again、 Jordy returns to Arst with his remaining companions and dedicates himself to the reconstruction of the Kingdom of Volder.Panzer World Galient was an original robot animation series produced by Nippon Sunrise. Under the leadership of director Ryosuke Takahashi、 the series was created by a team with an approach different from that of the Gundam team.
