Shin Meipuru Taun Monogatari Pamutaun-hen ~Konnichiwa! Atarashii Machi~ (New Maple Town Story)Patty、 a rabbit girl living in Maple Town、 decides to move to Palm Town in a southern country as she is invited by her aunt、 Jane.She says goodbye to people in Maple Town、 who are surprised at her moving but send her off hospitably、 and arrives Palm Town after a long boat trip.On the way to see Aunt Jane’s husband、 George、 Patty has her baggage stolen during looking away for a second. As a sweater given by her best friend、 Ann、 is in the stolen baggage、 Patty runs after the thieves to take it back.Yota and Guta、 the thieves who took Patty’s baggage、 are disappointed to find that there is not any precious thing in it. Then Lorry、 a daughter of a very rich man、 comes along and Yota and Guta plan to kidnap her.As Patty happens to be with Lorry、 they are kidnapped together and confined in a yacht with their hands tied.Using their wit、 Patty and Lorry remove from tied rope、 take away the yacht rudder and beat out Yota and Guta.In this way、 Patty takes back her sweater. She and her new friend Lorry are excited about their new lives in Palm Town.This work was re-edited for theater based on a TV animation Shin Meipuru Taun Monogatari Pamutaun-hen、 and one of several films for children broadcast in spring、 summer and winter vacations in 1969 by Toei Co.、 Ltd.
