Synopsis Babiru Ni-sei、 Babel IIBabel's spaceship breaks down and crash-lands on the Earth. He tries to build the Tower of Babel that is equipped with a super-speed computer、 in order to send a distress signal to his homeland. However、 some Earthlings make a mistake、 and the tower gets partially destroyed just before its completion.Babel gives up returning to his homeland、 and leaves the Tower of Babel and the three servants、 namely、 Rodem、 a slime-like、 shape-shifting creature (often changing into a black panther)、 the bird robot Ropross、 and the giant humanoid robot Poseidon、 to a yet-to-be-born descendant who will share his DNA.Five millennia later、 a boy named Koichi is recognized by the Tower of Babel's computer as Babel's legitimate successor、 Babel II.Vowing to use the supernatural powers and extraordinary intelligence and physical prowess handed down to him from Babel to just ends、 Koichi decides to join the fight to prevent Yomi、 a vicious man with supernatural powers、 from conquering the world.Koichi、 now Babel II、 decides to leave the Furumis who have raised him ever since he was little. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Furumi、 Yumiko、 is in love with Koichi. She goes out looking for Koichi who disappeared abruptly、 but always fails to reunite with him who has become Babel II.Devoting himself to protecting the world's peace、 Babel II focuses on stopping Yomi、 who、 with supernatural powers like Babel II、 acts as a highly charismatic leader with many followers and even exerts control over whole nations、 from accomplishing his evil plan to conquer the world. At the time、 the idea of a hero dressed in school uniform and the three servants、 Rodem、 Ropross、 and Poseidon、 was a novel one、 which、 along with the theme song by Ichiro Mizuki、 made Babel II very popular.Babel II was based on the 12-volume manga series by Mitsuteru Yokoyama.
