Shinmai Maou no Tesutamento Departures、 The Testament of Sister New Devil: Departures Basara Tojo is a high school student. After his father suddenly gets remarried、 he is forced to live with the Naruse sisters: Mio、 the daughter of the previous Demon Lord; and Maria、 a succubus. Basara transfers to the high school that Mio attends and is reunited with his childhood friend Yuki Nonaka、 who is a member of the Hero Tribe. Later、 the current Demon Lord、 who is after the power of Demon Lord that Mio possess、 sends his assassins to attack Mio、 but Basara、 along with many of his friends、 defends her in countless battles and eventually defeats the Demon Lord Leoheart in the end.One day、 while they return to their peaceful lives、 a message arrives from the heroes' village demanding them to return. The message also says to bring Basara and Mio、 who have defeated the Demon Lord、 back to the village. Yahiro Takigawa、 a spy from the demon world、 who thinks it is dangerous for the daughter of a Demon Lord to go to an enemy country、 appears in front of Basara and stands in his way. Basara swears that he will protect Mio no matter what、 and Yahiro、 who recognizes his determination through the battle、 entrusts Mio to him. When Basara returns to his friends、 they learn of his intentions and together decide to become stronger and go to the heroes' village. After seeing the determination of Mio and others、 Basara decides to travel together to the heroes' village. The Testament of Sister New Devil: Departures is a video animation series that was created by Production IMS for events and released theatrically、 depicting a later episode of the anime television series The Testament of Sister New Devil that aired in 2015. It was given an R15+ rating because the depictions were a bit more extreme than the television series. It is originally a battle-centered light novel romantic comedy fantasy written by Tetsuto Uesu and published by Kadokawa Shoten under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint from 2012 to 2021.
