Shichisei no Subaru、 Seven Senses of the Reunion Playing in the globally popular online RPG game Union is a party team of elementary school students called Subaru、 who were said to be the strongest players in the game. One day、 however、 an unexpected incident occurred to the team. It all started when Haruto Amo、 a member of Subaru、 made a promise to his childhood friend and fellow teammate Asahi Kuga. Asahi gets killed in the game protecting Haruto、 and she subsequently dies in the real world. This fatal accident leads to the dissolution of Subaru、 and without the truth of her death being revealed、 the game's management terminates the service. Six years later、 the game is relaunched、 now called Reunion.Haruto、 now a high school student、 steps back into the game in spite of a sense of dissatisfaction deep down in his heart. There、 he is surprised to find that Asahi、 who was supposed to be dead、 is indeed alive and existing in the game world. When the two reunite、 they set on a new journey after reuniting with the other members of Subaru through the game in various ways in order to fulfill the promise that they were unable to before.The anime television series was produced and aired on TBS from July to September 2018、 which began with Haruto Amo and his friends、 now in high school、 starting the game again. It is based on an eight-volume light novel series by Noritake Tao、 published by Shogakukan under their Gagaga Bunko imprint from 2015 to 2018.
