Synopsis Daiku Maryu Gaikingu、 GaikingThe planet Zela、 situated far off in space 6、000 lightyears away from Earth、 is facing destruction due to the movement of a blackhole toward it. Although the machine god Darius was created as a savior to assist Zela’s survival efforts、 Darius subjugates the Zelas、 forms the Dark Horror Army、 and descends on Earth in search of a new place to migrate to、 marking the beginning of his conquest of the world. Meanwhile、 on Earth、 professional baseball player Sanshiro Tsuwabuki、 known as an unhittable pitcher、 is forced to retire from his career due to a mysterious accident. However、 this was no accident: it was caused intentionally by the Dark Horror Army that wants to eliminate all humans who have supernatural powers. This incident makes people realize that the Dark Horror Army is invading Earth. Darius the Great、 ruler of Zela、 leverages technology and ancient superweapons far more superior to those of humans、 controlling dark monsters to add momentum to the invasion. Dr. Daimonji、 who foresaw the extraterrestrial invasion、 makes preparations to complete the Daiku Maryu、 a dinosaur-shaped mobile fortress、 and Gaiking、 a gigantic combination robot for combat、 to deal with the invaders. The doctor recruits Sanshiro and many other psychics to form the Combat Force、 a team of people with special powers. The team get on Gaiking and confront together the Dark Horror Army to fight back against the Zela invaders.
