Synopsis Furumetaru Panikku? Fumoffu、 Full Metal Panic? FumoffuSousuke Sagara is the youngest agent in the Special Response Team of Mithril、 a covert anti-terrorist mercenary organization that doesn’t belong to any country. One day、 Sousuke is assigned the mission of going undercover as a student in Tokyo Metropolitan Jindai High School and secretly guard Kaname Chidori、 a Japanese high school girl with a special power、 from the military arms of various countries. Sousuke does his job of protecting Kaname from the agents and mercenaries sent by various countries. But since he grew up on a battlefield filled with gun smoke and the smell of blood、 he repeatedly makes mistakes unable to fit into the peaceful life in Japan. Meanwhile、 Kaname worries about him and spends her days supporting the socially clumsy Sousuke. Their friendship deepens through this. But Sousuke、 who still can’t get used to the peaceful life、 is devastatingly clumsy and his behavior derived from the military nature and war mentality often plunges them into trouble、 and it always turns into a great commotion at the end. While she is troubled by the senior officers of Mithril、 Kaname is dragged into battles by Sousuke、 sometimes against street punks、 sometimes against teachers、 sometimes against gangsters、 and sometimes even with the high school’s janitor or the town police officers. In the end、 each of these battles develops into a slapstick incident with a series of troubles、 and eventually gets them involved in a strange incident.Amid such foolish and ridiculous days、 Kaname pulls the reins of Sousuke by acting as his brake and spends turbulent and troublesome days while reacting to and correcting Sousuke’s slip-ups.The setting is greatly changed from the original fantasy novel.
