NinkuIn “EDO” Period of the fictional history、 there was a major war between the Shogunate family attempting to restore its empire and the fringe force. During this great war、 a group of only several tens of members drove the Imperial Army to the brink of annihilation. The group’s name is the Ninku corps. After barely winning the war、 the Empire、 fearing its powers、 started to destroy the Ninku corps. The members were scattered、 and then disappeared as the war-torn era was coming to an end.After the war、 Fuusuke、 the former captain of the 1st Ninku corps、 the rat Ninku (Ne-nin)、 is on a journey around the world searching for his mother’s whereabouts with his partner penguin Hiroyuki. Fuusuke’s mother、 a feng shui shi、 was kidnapped by the Empire’s man when he was a child.During the journey、 Fuusuke joins tomboyish Rihoko、 who likes fiddling with machines. Although they are often attacked by assassins from the Empire plotting to eradicate the Ninku members、 Fuusuke makes full use of his ninjutsu techniques of Ninku and defeats them.Then Fuusuke is reunited with Aicho、 the former captain of the 10th Ninku corps、 the rooster Ninku (Tori-nin)、 and Toji、 Rihoko’s elder brother and the former captain of the 6th Ninku corps、 the snake Ninku (Mi-nin). While they travel together、 they fight against their old Ninku member、 Kisumi、 who was the captain of the 7th Ninku corps but now belongs to the Imperial Army. This battle causes Fuusuke to approach the secrets behind the Empire.Fuusuke and his allies meet many people in various situations through the increasingly fierce fight against the Imperial Army.The party heads for their hidden hometown、 Ninku no Sato、 trying to reveal the secrets between the Ninku corps and the Imperial Army as well as the mysteries behind Fuusuke’s mother.
