Synopsis Hangurii haato、 Hungry Heart: Wild Striker Kyosuke Kano、 a student at Akanegaoka High School、 has an older brother Seisuke、 who is a world-class football genius. Although Kyosuke also loves football and plays well as a striker、 he has an inferiority complex by comparing himself to his brilliant brother and loses motivation for football he once loved. Kyosuke is a little awkward around Miki、 who has saved him、 but gradually finds himself falling in love with her.Hungry Heart: Wild Striker was created by Nippon Animation and aired on Animax and the Fuji Television network from 2002 to 2003. It is based on a manga series by Yoichi Takahshi、 who is famous for his many popular sports series including Captain Tsubasa. This original manga starring a football striker was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion from 2002 to 2004.
