Synopsis Space Tokusatsu Series: Captain Ultra As a result of the space development plan、 in the late 21st century Earth enters a technologically advanced era of space exploration、 with humanity advancing into outer space.However、 the unknown crisis that humanity faces in space poses significant problems. A space station called the Silver Star is constructed、 leading to the deployment of the Space Patrol Force in various locations.Not long after this、 mysterious aliens appear on a transporter ship heading for the mines on Mars、 throwing those on board into a state of panic. Detecting a distress signal emitted from a special gun、 Takehiko Hongo、 aka Captain Ultra、 of the Space Patrol Force gets on his spaceship、 the Spiegel、 with his team、 namely Joe、 who is from the Planet Kikero、 the all-purpose robot Huck、 and a female space physicist named Akane. The team travels through the galaxy to tackle various cases. The team fights with the Banderu、 aliens from beyond the Solar System、 and a colossal monster called Bandera to protect humanity from the threats they pose.Space Tokusatsu Series: Captain Ultra is a tokusatsu series produced by Toei Tokyo Studios that aired on the TBS network from April to September 1967. It was inspired by the Captain Future series、 a space opera by the American science fiction writer Edmond Hamilton.It is counted among the Ultra Series by Tsuburaya Productions、 succeeding Ultra Q and Ultraman from the Fantasy Science series . It was aired in the Takeda Hour block、 which began with Moonlight Mask in 1966.
