Synopsis |
Teki wa Kaizoku: Neko-tachi no KyoenDetective Apullo、 a cat-like space alien、 and his colleague Latell、 belong to the Space Piracy Division chasing space pirates. Every day they get in Rajendra、 a frigate space ship equipped with AI、 chasing pirates who do bad things everywhere in space.However、 they are fired by the chief of Space Piracy Division because their actions to catch pirates are too radical.Frustrated by unexpected condition、 they go away with Rajendra and visit a film company in Titan、 a moon of Saturn、 which is introduced by the chief as their new career.As soon as they arrive a studio of the company、 Rajendra is suddenly attacked. They somehow survive the critical situation and find that the film company is doing various illegal activities such as construction of battle ships by using prohibited CAT86、 a system to drive human brain crazy.Chasing Katz、 who is a pirate acting under camouflage of the film company、 Apullo and Latell overcome many problems such as conflict with an information army、 which is hostile to Space Piracy Division、 and finally arrive at the CAT system、 which has a shape of giant cat.They solve the case by beating out the giant cat to stop the CAT system、 while they cannot catch Pirate Katz.Its original story is the second series of Teki wa Kaizoku、 a science-fiction novel by Chohei Kambayashi、 who won the Best Japanese Long Story of the 15th Seiun Award. The production company is Kitty Films. It is added an arrangement from a trilogy、 Neko-jarashi Sakusen、 Neko-kaburi Zenshosen and Neko-irazu Daisodo and each story consists of two parts. As each of the trilogy has different director and production company、 each episode has its own characteristics.
