Synopsis Kikoushi Enma、 Demon Prince Enma There are demons in our world、 who came from the underworld and prefer the dark minds of murderous、 jealous and greedy humans. Enma、 the demon prince of the underworld、 whose mission it is to bring back demons to the underworld or to hunt them down and destroy them、 forms the Enma Detective Agency on the human world、 along with Yukihime、 his assistant and partner、 and Kapaeru、 who is in charge of gathering information. One day、 a request comes into the office. The client is a man named Heinrich、 who teaches German history at a university. He wants them to look for his missing daughter Lola、 who was born to him and his Japanese wife. Upon receiving the request、 Enma and his team set out to investigate、 and discover that there have been a number of bizarre murders in the vicinity of Lola. When they sense the presence of a demon、 they throw themselves into battle in order to hunt the demon that is spreading fear in the world. This anime series was released by Bandai Visual from 2006 to 2007 and was produced by Brain's Base. It is based on the manga and anime television series by Go Nagai、 a famous manga artist known for Mazinger Z and Cutie Honey. This series is a sequel to Dororon Enma-kun、 a manga published in Shonen Sunday since 1973 and later animated by Toei Animation、 where the same character、 Enma、 is featured but as a boy. Like Enma、 other characters have become adults as well、 and it has shifted from a manga/anime for children to a more mature tone. As the characters and storyline have evolved from Dororon Enma-kun、 there are some serious incidents in the story、 such as the death of Kapaeru midway through.
