Kamen Rider Kuuga: New Year Special As the battle with the Gurongi、 a tribe of vicious phantoms、 continues、 Yusuke Godai、 aka Kamen Rider Kuuga、 is enjoying a moment of peace、 working as a part-timer at the cafe Pole. While taking a nap during his break time、 those who care for him and are dear to him appear before his eyes in their best clothes. They are reflecting on the events of the year while eating New Year’s food. After finishing the New Year’s food、 Godai looks behind him. Seeing the cafe busy with customers、 he goes back to work.The busy cafe is packed with customers who look very similar to the human forms of the phantoms who Godai fought against. Despite this sense of suspicion、 Godai interacts with the customers with a smile in his usual way. However、 he gradually loses his consciousness、 waking up to realize that it was all a dream.As the clouds darken and it begins to rain heavily、 Godai receives a message from his partner、 Kaoru Ichijo (played by Shingo Katsurayama)、 that a new phantom has appeared. Godai dashes to the night streets、 which are filled with screams and raging flames、 to confront N Daguva Zeba、 the harbinger of ultimate darkness.Kamen Rider Kuuga: New Year Special is a TV special based on Kamen Rider Kuuga、 a tokusatsu series produced by Toei that featured Joe Odagiri and aired on the TV Asahi network from January 2000 to January 2001. Kamen Rider Kuuga was the first installment of the Kamen Rider Series to be broadcast in the Heisei era.Kamen Rider Kuuga: New Year Special revolves around the events that unfolded between Episodes 46 and 47 of the main series、 while recapping the events of past episodes.
